Where this tool comes from
The framing engine is a direct port of the Goods Studio inside the Foreverse app: same 63:88 trading-card canvas (750×1050) and 1:3 bookmark (500×1500), same cover-crop geometry, same rarity color themes, same deterministic holographic noise on UR frames (fixed seed — same inputs, same pixels). Ported to Web Canvas 2D, 2026-07.
Community standing comes from a static snapshot of the public community API (imports / likes / favorites per card, captured 2026-07-24). The tier thresholds were set on that snapshot's real distribution and are printed in the tool — when the snapshot refreshes, the thresholds get re-derived, not hand-tuned.
What it can't do
Rarity measures attention, not quality — a freshly published card starts at R no matter how good it is. The formula and cutoffs are disclosed precisely so you can disagree with them.
Community-card mode only offers cards from the official snapshot (all published by the official account); we don't pull arbitrary cards from other sites. For your own images, the rights confirmation is yours to make.
Canvas text uses your system's serif/sans fonts, so exact glyph shapes vary slightly across devices. The in-app version renders with bundled fonts and adds two more templates (badge, wallpaper).
FAQ
How is rarity decided?
By the card's real community record, not a dice roll: score = imports ×1 + likes ×2 + favorites ×2, from a published snapshot of the community hub. Tiers follow the snapshot's actual distribution — UR needs a score of 4+ (the top 3% of the 96 cards on the shelf), SSR 2+, SR 1+, R is zero. The thresholds and snapshot date are printed next to the badge.
Why is my uploaded image "unrated"?
Because there's nothing to rate it with. Rarity here means community standing — imports and likes a published card earned. Your own image has no such record, and inventing a tier would make every UR meaningless. The frame still renders in a neutral theme.
Does my image get uploaded anywhere?
No. The canvas is drawn entirely in your browser and the PNG is assembled locally — the image never leaves your machine. That's also why the tool asks you to confirm you have the rights to use it: we can't check, so you carry that.
Why does the export carry a watermark?
A small "name · foreverse.app" line bottom-left is the price of the free web version — every card that travels is a signed postcard. The in-app Goods Studio can switch it off, and it rates rarity from your actual relationship with the character (chat turns, affection) instead of public stats.
